Your First Visit
During your first visit with Dr. Anita Chopra, she will take a comprehensive history pertaining to your chief complaint. Next, she will perform a focused examination, which may include neurological and orthopedic exams, range-of-motion testing, postural assessment and spinal palpation. According to the her findings, you will have a customized treatment plan that will be specific to your chief complaint and overall health and wellness goals. The treatments may consist of chiropractic adjustments (manual, instrument assisted, Drop), manual soft tissue mobilization, stretching, rehabilitative exercises/active care activities to perform at home.
Your first visit will typically be about 45 to 60 minutes in length, which includes time for paperwork and your initial exam. Subsequent visits run between 15-20 minutes depending on what treatments Dr. Anita recommends.
During treatments it is a good idea to wear clothing that are loose and comfortable.
