The nice weather is definitely a sign that spring is here!  Now this begs the question, how do we make spring-cleaning fun?  While fun is a very subjective thing, here are some tips to make your cleaning habits more of a workout rather than a chore.


Play some funky music!  Some good music never hurt anyone.  Put on your favourite playlist or genre and belt out your inner singer and get going.

Get Low! Proper movement patterns are very important especially to ensure that we don't get hurt.  But squatting to clean the corner behind the toilet, or full length mirror are great ways to fire up your leg and butt muscles.

Add Stairs.  Going up and down stairs are a great way to add quick sprints of cardiovascular exercise while working on those leg muscles.

Start at the top.  Make sure you don't miss those pesky corners or hidden spots.  This allows you to get a deeper clean but also gets you to stretch those arm and shoulder muscles as well.

Proper Movements. Remember that while you clean you should be mindful of your movement patterns.  Don't over-extend or forget to bend with the knees as this will protect your body as you spring clean.
